Polyimide film covered wire is a type of winding wire produced by evenly wrapping 2-3 layers of polyimide film as insulation around a conductor made of oxygen-free copper rod or electrical round aluminum rod that has been extruded or drawn through a specified die and then annealed. This product exhibits excellent voltage resistance with a relatively thin insulation layer and can withstand heat up to 220°C. It is primarily used in windings for motors, reactors, welding machines, or other similar electrical appliances. The electrical bare copper (aluminum) wire produced by extrusion is the raw material required for manufacturing polyimide film covered wire.
