It is specially suited for windings in electrical equipment operating in solvent-exposed or corrosive conditions, such as chemical industry reactors, marine electrical devices, and oilfield equipment.

    Based on insulating paint properties, it is classified into six categories with strong solvent and corrosion resistance:

    • QQ/QQN (120℃): Polyvinyl Acetal / Self-adhesive Polyvinyl Acetal – good hydrolysis and transformer oil resistance
    • QZ (130℃): Polyester – basic solvent resistance for general corrosive environments
    • QZG (155℃): Modified Polyester – enhanced solvent and shock resistance
    • QZY (180℃): Polyester Imide – excellent chemical solvent and heat shock resistance
    • Q(ZY/XY) (200℃): Polyester Imide / Polyamide-Imide Composite – superior refrigerant, solvent, and radiation resistance
