NOMEX has extremely high electrical, chemical, and mechanical properties. It offers excellent elasticity, flexibility, anti-tearing, moisture resistance, and wear resistance, as well as acid and alkali corrosion resistance.
Even when the temperature reaches 220℃, the insulation property remains unchanged. Transformers with Nomex wrapped wire deliver strong thermal stability throughout their service life.
Transformers with Nomex insulation can operate at up to 180℃, requiring fewer wires and ferrite cores. This results in smaller size, lighter weight, reduced installation costs, and lower no-load loss.
Nomex is compatible with all kinds of varnish, adhesive, transformer liquid, lubricant, and coolant. It is not easily destroyed by insects, molds, or fungi.
With Nomex wrapped wire, outstanding electrical and mechanical properties are maintained throughout the transformer's entire service life.
